Immediate on table rhinoplasty results for this great young man who wanted a more refined nose. His only complaint was the bridge of his nose, which he felt was too prominent due to a bony and cartilaginous “hump.” He also wanted his nostrils narrowed. We performed a closed rhinoplasty to take down the hump. Cast removal in a week – he should heal quickly with a minimally invasive closed rhinoplasty.
Techniques used:
- Closed supraperichondrial dissection
- Component minimal dorsal hump takedown
- Bilateral medial notching and lateral high-low-high osteotomies
- Bilateral alar base reduction
