What is Dysport?

Dysport is a botulinum toxin type A injectable that temporarily relaxes the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles. By preventing repetitive muscle contractions, Dysport reduces the appearance of crow’s feet, forehead lines, and frown lines between the brows. It spreads throughout the treatment area, making it an ideal option for treating larger areas with a smooth and natural result. Dysport also works as a preventative treatment, slowing the formation of deep wrinkles over time.

Candidates for Dysport

Dysport is ideal for adults who want to minimize fine lines and wrinkles or prevent deeper creases from forming. Suitable candidates include individuals with moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles, particularly in the forehead and glabellar or frown line area. Dysport is safe for all skin types and tones. Dysport Procedure

The Dysport procedure is a quick, in-office treatment that typically takes 10 to 20 minutes to complete. A fine needle is used to inject small amounts of Dysport into your targeted facial muscles. Most patients experience minimal discomfort, though a topical numbing cream can be applied if needed. Dysport provides fast-acting and natural-looking results, allowing for a refreshed appearance.

Dysport Recovery

Dysport requires little to no downtime, making it a convenient option for those with busy schedules. Some mild redness, swelling, or bruising may occur at the injection sites but typically resolve within a few hours to days. To maximize results, patients should avoid rubbing the treated areas, lying down for a few hours post-treatment, and engaging in strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

Dysport Results

Dysport becomes effective within a few days, and full results are visible in about a week. The treatment smooths fine lines while maintaining natural facial movement, preventing a “frozen” look. Dysport results typically last three to four months. Patients can prolong their new look with maintenance appointments.

“I never felt rushed”

During the consultation all my questions were answered and Dr.
Daraei suggested the tissue removal from my eyelids. He mentioned the slightly swollen look that I thought was a sinus condition. When he showed me how much of my eyelid was hidden, l was amazed. He then took the time to explain the procedures I might want and answered every question I had. At no time did he make me feel pressured or rushed or that he had somewhere else to go.
